Mise à jour / Upgrade NX-OS d'un Nexus 7000

La mise à jour d'un Nexus 7000 peut se faire à l'aide de seulement quelques commandes.

Mise à jour de l'image kickstart et de l'image system via la commande suivante. Les images servant à la mise à jour peuvent se trouver sur différents supports; locaux, distants et amovibles :

  • bootflash: 
  • ftp:       
  • scp:       
  • sftp:      
  • slot0:     
  • tftp:      
  • usb1:      
  • usb2:      
  • volatile:

Via une clé usb

install all kickstart usb1:/ios/n7k/n7000-s1-kickstart.5.2.7.bin system  usb1:/ios/n7k/n7000-s1-dk9.5.2.7.bin

via tftp

install all kickstart tftp://@IP-tftp/ios/n7k/n7000-s1-kickstart.5.2.7.bin system  tftp://@Ip-tftp/ios/n7k/n7000-s1-dk9.5.2.7.bin

 

Suite à différents tests et copies, l'équipement précise si l'upgrade engendrera une coupure et demande s'il doit continuer l'installation. Répondre "y" pour continuer.

L'installation se poursuit et l'équipement recommande de redémarrer les CMPs.
